Cryptoworth alternatives: the 2026 comparison for finance teams

The short answer: Cryptoworth is a crypto accounting subledger for mid-market and enterprise finance teams on NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Xero. As of September 2026, both of its paid tiers are quote-based. The main alternatives are Breezing, Bitwave, Cryptio, SoftLedger, and Ledgible. For SMBs and accounting firms, Breezing publishes pricing from $29 per month with unlimited wallets and users.
If you're researching Cryptoworth, you're probably mid-evaluation. Maybe your firm just took on a client who pays suppliers in USDC and your ledger has no idea what to do with it.
This guide covers what Cryptoworth is, who it was built for, and what the other tools in the category actually do. Breezing is our product. Every Cryptoworth fact below comes from Cryptoworth's own pages, checked on September 3, 2026. If you only want the head-to-head, see Breezing vs Cryptoworth.
What is Cryptoworth?
Cryptoworth describes itself as "Enterprise Financial Software for Digital Asset Accounting and ERP Integration". It's a subledger that reads wallet, exchange, and blockchain activity and posts journal entries to your general ledger.
Coverage is the headline. As of September 2026 its integrations page claims over 1,000 data connections across more than 200 blockchain networks, with custodians including Fireblocks, BitGo, and Copper. On the ledger side, that page names QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite, and the homepage lists Sage among its native integrations. It is SOC 2 Type 2 certified.
Why finance teams look for Cryptoworth alternatives
Four patterns come up, and all four trace back to Cryptoworth's own positioning rather than any hidden flaw.
The entry price disappeared from the page. Our own best-of comparison recorded Cryptoworth's pricing page on August 18, 2026, when Business Starter was listed at $300 per month for two seats and one entity, with extra seats at $50 and multi-entity at $200 per month. As of September 3, 2026, the same page shows no dollar figure. Both tiers route to a quote, with Enterprise priced on entities, volume, and integrations. The page's meta description still advertises plans from $89 monthly, but nothing visible on the page confirms a number.
Seats and entities were metered. The last published tier bundled two seats and one entity and charged for more of each. Whether the quote-based tiers still work that way is not visible on the page.
Bexio isn't on the list. Swiss SMBs and plenty of EU entities keep their books on Bexio. Cryptoworth names NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage. If the ledger is Bexio, a subledger that can't post to it isn't a subledger for you.
We have not seen native invoice closure documented on Cryptoworth's site. Breezing closes a crypto-paid Xero or QuickBooks invoice directly, with no clearing account. As of September 2026, we could not find the same claim documented for Cryptoworth, on its site or in its help center, or for any other subledger in this piece.
None of these make Cryptoworth a bad product. They make it a specific product, aimed at a buyer who may not be you.

What Cryptoworth is built for
The positioning is not ambiguous. Cryptoworth's homepage speaks to finance leaders at DeFi protocols and mature DAOs. Its pricing page splits the product into a Business Starter tier for growing finance teams and an Enterprise tier for multi-entity, high-volume organizations on NetSuite, and Sage sits next to NetSuite and QuickBooks on the homepage integration list.
So the buyer is a mid-market or enterprise finance team closing into NetSuite or Sage, or a protocol or DAO treasury with many entities and a lot of volume. Breezing connects to neither NetSuite nor Sage. That is the cleanest line between the two products, and everything below sits on one side of it or the other.
Where Breezing wins
Breezing's pricing is on the page. Basic is $29 per month for 600 transactions, Scale is $2,917 per month for 1.5 million, and the Enterprise tier above it is custom. The bill moves with transaction volume and nothing else, so you can size it from your own ledger this afternoon.
Every tier includes unlimited wallets and unlimited users. A client with 30 wallets costs what a client with 3 costs. Adding the junior who does the reconciliations, or the partner who reviews them, costs nothing. For a firm that is the difference between a price that tracks the practice and a price that tracks the client list.
The ledger connections are Xero, QuickBooks Online, and Bexio. Bexio is the one no other tool in this piece offers, which decides the question for Swiss books and for EU entities that run on it. Breezing is built in Switzerland and is a Swiss Made Software member.
Then there is the part that eats the most time in a close. When a customer pays an invoice in USDC, Breezing closes that invoice in Xero or QuickBooks Online directly, with no clearing account and no suspense balance to explain in the review. Paying a supplier on chain works the same way on the AP side. We wrote up the mechanics in our guide to closing crypto invoices in QuickBooks and Xero.
Corrections after the fact update the posted journal entry in place. Nothing gets deleted and reposted, so a price fix or a recategorized wallet in a closed period leaves the audit trail intact instead of leaving a hole in it.
The rest is coverage and credentials. 80+ blockchains and exchanges. DeFi rewards accrue as they are earned rather than appearing as a lump at disposal. Opening balances carry across from whatever you ran before, and cost centers sync to the ledger. Breezing is SOC 2 Type II certified and a Xero Partner.
Other tools you will see in this category
Five other names come up in most evaluations, each re-checked against vendor pages on September 3, 2026.
Bitwave. An enterprise platform for crypto accounting, stablecoin payments, and reporting. Its site names QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Xero, and lists SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2. Its pricing page splits buyers into startups, enterprises, and institutions, and every segment ends in a talk-to-sales button. We cover it in Bitwave alternatives.
Cryptio. An enterprise subledger aimed at teams on NetSuite, SAP, and Oracle, with multi-entity support and an institutional audit trail. Its homepage claims 150+ blockchains, exchanges, custodians, DeFi protocols, and internal systems, plus SOC 1 and SOC 2 at Type 1 and Type 2. Its pricing page publishes no numbers. We cover it in Breezing vs Cryptio and in our Cryptio alternatives guide.
SoftLedger. A full general ledger with a Digital Assets add-on, not a subledger. It is the one enterprise option here with a published number. Its pricing page lists a Standard plan at $13,500 per year for three users with unlimited entities. Running it means replacing Xero or QuickBooks rather than adding to them. We cover it in Breezing vs SoftLedger.
Tres Finance. Its homepage now announces that it has been acquired by Fireblocks. It claims 220+ web3 networks, exchanges, and banking sources, mentions QuickBooks and Xero, and publishes no pricing. We wrote up the deal in our take on the Fireblocks acquisition.
Ledgible. A tax-first platform for US CPA firms, with connections to UltraTax CS, Lacerte, Drake Tax, and CCH Axcess. Its pricing page shows a tax product from $49, a Tax Pro tier free for the professional with clients billed per client, and custom pricing for the accounting product based on users, wallets, volume, and integrations. We cover it in Ledgible alternatives.
One shared gap. We did not find native AP/AR invoice closure documented on any competitor's site in this piece, Cryptoworth included, as of September 2026. If that matters to you, it shortens the list to Breezing. For a wider survey, see the best crypto accounting subledger tools.
Which Cryptoworth alternative fits which team
| Your situation | Best fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| SMB on Xero or QuickBooks Online | Breezing | Published pricing from $29/mo, native invoice closure, corrections in place |
| Accounting firm serving crypto clients | Breezing | Unlimited wallets and users on every tier, so the next client adds transactions and no other line |
| Enterprise on NetSuite, SAP, or Sage | A subledger that posts to your ERP | Breezing posts to Xero, QuickBooks Online, and Bexio, and its Enterprise tier is custom-priced. A general ledger on NetSuite, SAP, or Sage needs a subledger that writes to it |
| EU or Swiss entity on Bexio | Breezing | The only tool here that syncs to Bexio |
How to run this evaluation in a week
-
Write down the constraints that decide it on their own. The ledger you close in. The chains and exchanges you actually hold. The certifications your auditor asks for.
-
Pull your last three months of transaction volume. Tiered pricing, Breezing's included, runs on transaction count.
-
Test the workflow that hurts most. Pay a test invoice in USDC and watch what lands in your ledger, then correct a posted entry after the period has closed and look at what the audit trail says afterwards.
-
Score the shortlist on one sheet. Eight criteria, 0 for no, 1 for partial, 2 for yes, 16 points on the table:
- Published pricing you can read without booking a call
- Connection to the ERP or ledger you already close in
- Wallet and user limits, 2 if neither is metered
- Invoice closure without a clearing account
- The chains and exchanges you hold, not the headline count
- Certifications your auditor asks for
- Post-close correction behaviour, 2 if entries update in place
- Support for Swiss or EU entities on Bexio
A 0 on a criterion you cannot live without ends that tool's evaluation, whatever the other 14 points say.
Quick answers
Is Cryptoworth good?
Yes, for its intended buyer. It is a mature subledger with the broadest coverage claim in the category, over 1,000 data connections, plus SOC 2 Type 2 certification and NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage integrations. Smaller firms often find its quote-based pricing and seat-based tiers heavier than they need.
How much does Cryptoworth cost?
As of September 3, 2026, Cryptoworth publishes no price. Both paid tiers route to a quote. Our own prior comparison recorded the same page listing Business Starter at $300 per month for two seats and one entity on August 18, 2026, with extra seats at $50 and multi-entity at $200 per month. Breezing publishes tiers from $29 per month.
What is the difference between Cryptoworth and Breezing?
Target market, pricing model, and ledger depth. Cryptoworth serves mid-market and enterprise teams on NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage, with quote-based pricing and very broad coverage. Breezing serves SMBs and accounting firms on Xero, QuickBooks Online, or Bexio, with published pricing, unlimited wallets and users, and native invoice closure with no clearing account.
Which ERPs does Cryptoworth integrate with?
As of September 2026, Cryptoworth's integrations page names QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite, and its homepage lists Sage among its native integrations. NetSuite sits in the Enterprise tier. Bexio is not supported. Breezing, for comparison, syncs to Xero, QuickBooks Online, and Bexio, and is a Xero partner.
Does Cryptoworth support Xero and QuickBooks?
Yes. QuickBooks and Xero support is listed in Cryptoworth's Business Starter tier as of September 2026. The difference is workflow depth. Breezing closes crypto-paid invoices directly in Xero and QuickBooks with no clearing account and updates posted journal entries in place. We have not seen the same native closure documented on Cryptoworth's site.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Cryptoworth?
Yes. Breezing starts at $29 per month for 600 transactions, with unlimited wallets and users on every tier, against Cryptoworth's last published entry price of $300 per month for two seats and one entity. The gap widens for firms, because Breezing never charges for the next wallet, user, or client.
What is the best Cryptoworth alternative for accounting firms?
Breezing. It publishes pricing from $29 per month, gives every tier unlimited wallets and users, covers 80+ blockchains and exchanges, updates posted journal entries in place, and closes invoices in Xero and QuickBooks Online without a clearing account. For a firm, a new client costs no extra per wallet or per seat.
Which crypto accounting software works with Bexio?
Breezing. It is the only crypto subledger in this comparison that syncs to Bexio, alongside Xero and QuickBooks Online, which makes it the practical choice for Swiss SMBs and EU entities on Bexio. It is built in Switzerland, is a Swiss Made Software member, and publishes pricing from $29 per month.
Bottom line
If you are an SMB, a CFO with a lean team, or an accounting firm serving crypto clients on Xero, QuickBooks Online, or Bexio, run Breezing. The price is on the page and starts at $29 per month for 600 transactions. Wallets and users are unlimited on every tier, so the bill tracks transaction volume rather than headcount or client count. Crypto-paid invoices close in Xero and QuickBooks Online with no clearing account, corrections update posted entries in place instead of deleting and reposting them, and coverage runs to 80+ blockchains and exchanges behind SOC 2 Type II. Bexio makes it the only option in this piece for Swiss and EU books.
One caveat, and it is the only one. If your general ledger is NetSuite, SAP, or Sage, Breezing does not post there, and that alone decides it.
